Market Analyst

Do you want to understand what is happening in a market and turn your findings into compelling stories? For Bike Europe, the leading international B2B media platform for the bicycle industry, we are looking for a Market Analyst.

As a Market Analyst, you will research market developments, identify trends, interpret data and translate your findings into articles for professionals.

You start by looking at the bigger picture, collecting figures from different European countries and identifying patterns and notable developments. You then engage with the market to enrich your data: you speak with professionals, ask questions and find out what is behind the numbers.

You will work for Bike Europe, as part of the Telecompaper team: an experienced and highly driven team of eight professionals focused on the telecom and media sectors. You’ll learn through hands-on experience and on-the-job training, working closely with experienced colleagues while gradually taking on your own responsibilities.

What will you do?

• Follow market developments and key figures across Europe.

• Collect, compare and interpret data.

• Identify trends and notable developments.

• Connect with professionals to enrich data and insights.

• Find out what is behind the figures and developments.

• Write articles based on your research and findings.

• Determine when additional research is needed.

• You write clearly and know how to make complex information easy to understand.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Affinity with data and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• You have an excellent command of English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
